Delicious, Easy and Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes

Low calorie vegetarian recipes are the life-blood of the healthy, svelte vegetarian. Many people believe that just because they are vegetarian that they are eating a healthy diet. This may not necessarily be true. Many vegetarians consume a diet that is high in both fat and calories. Eating cheese pizza or savory desserts is a sure-fire way to be an unhealthy and chubby vegetarian.
I'm going to help you get started in the right direction by providing you with three, easy-to-prepare and low calorie vegetarian recipes. Low Calorie Vegetarian Recipes
1. Vegetable Wraps
o Two zucchini
o Two carrots
o ½ acocado (peeled, cored and sliced)
o 2 Tbs red onion (finely diced)
o ½ tsp dill
o ½ c. sour cream (no fat)
o Dash black pepper
o One Tbs. vinegar (red wine)
o 12 lettuce leaves (Romaine or your favorite)
Chill ingredients. Grate zucchini & carrots. Slice avocado. Mix, dill, pepper, vinegar, zucchini, red onion, carrots and sour cream. Add to vegetable mixture. Place ¼ c. of mixture in the side of the lettuce leaf. Roll and serve. Garnish with grated carrots.
2. Israel Saled
o One cucumber (peel, seed and dice)
o Two Tomatoes (fresh & diced)
o Two Chopped Green Onions
o Two Tbs. Olive Oil
o One Tbs. Lemon Juice
o ½ ts. Salt
o ¼ ts Pepper
o ½ tsp Dill
o ¼ c. Parsley (Chopped)
Papaya & Pineapple Salad
o 1 c. papaya (cube)
o 1 c. Pineapples (sliced or chunked)
o 1 lemon
o 1 Tbs. Vanilla yogurt
